Our business concept is to create long-term shareholder value by owning companies with solid potential for value creation and applying our financial strength, experience, knowledge and network to make them best-in-class.
Business operations
Investor’s business operations are conducted primarily through the following business areas:
Core Investments is our largest business area and consists of listed companies with strong positions in international markets. We have significant minority positions and work actively through the Boards of the companies to identify and drive value-creating actions. The business area comprises eight companies today: ABB, AstraZeneca, Atlas Copco, Electrolux, Ericsson, Husqvarna, Saab and SEB.
Operating Investments are medium to large-size companies with attractive growth potential, international operations, strong profitability and cash generating capability. Investments are made in both unlisted and listed companies. The business area consists of the following holdings: 3 Scandinavia, Biovitrum, CaridianBCT, Gambro, Grand Hôtel, Kunskapsskolan, Lindorff, Mölnlycke Health Care and Novare Group.
Private Equity Investments consists of two separate activities. Our wholly-owned Investor Growth Capital makes expansion stage venture capital investments in promising growth companies. The independent EQT funds, in which we are the sponsor and the largest investor, invest in larger companies. Investments are made in Northern Europe, the U.S. and Asia.

Our 156 employees are based at offices in Stockholm, Amsterdam, Beijing, Hong Kong, Menlo Park, New York City and Tokyo.
