Jose has been involved in venture capital since 1997, most recently with IGC Asia, where he worked on a broad range of investments both in the public markets and in privately negotiated situations. 

Jose holds a B.A. in Asian Studies from Dartmouth College. Jose focuses on semiconductors and hardware systems and holds Board seats at Millennium Microtech, Innovative Micro Technology and eSilicon Corporation.
