Liza has been Managing Director at Investor Growth Capital since 1998 and is based in IGC’s New York office. She is Co-Head of IGC’s Healthcare investing activities and focuses on specialty, small molecule and biologic pharmaceuticals, life science tools and healthcare services.
Before joining IGC, Liza spent 10 years with Pfizer Inc., where she held a series of positions with increasing responsibility in corporate finance/M&A, strategy, business development, marketing and operating management. She co-founded and served as senior operating head for Pfizer’s healthcare services subsidiary, Pfizer Health Solutions.
Prior to Pfizer, Liza was with the New York offices of the Boston Consulting Group (strategy consulting) and E.M. Warburg, Pincus & Co. (venture capital), where in both cases she concentrated on healthcare and life sciences.
Liza received an M.B.A. in Finance and Marketing from the Yale School of Management and a B.A. in Economics from Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut.
She currently serves as a board member of Biolex Therapeutics, Ception Therapeutics, Ceregene, Epigenesis Pharmaceuticals, KAI Pharmaceuticals, Sirion Therapeutics, and Solstice Neurosciences
