Michael Ricks is the CEO of Investor Growth Capital Asia Limited. He is also a Managing Director in Investor Growth Capital’s Menlo Park office.
Prior to this he was the CEO of imGO Limited, a publicly listed Hong Kong-based company (in which Investor AB was a major shareholder) that focused on technology investments.
Previous to imGO, he was the President and CEO of Ericsson (China) Co. Ltd., responsible for Ericsson's business in Greater China. Michael has been involved in the IT and telecommunications business since the early 1980s, in both startups and established companies.
Michael holds a M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business and a B.A. from the University of California at San Diego.
Michael currently serves as a Director on the Boards of China Greens/NS Focus, China Health Media, Digital Check, FOI, SHOEI, Sunny Optical Technology (HKSE:2382), and Zephyr. Michael's previous directorships include IP Infusion (acquired by Access, TSE Mothers:4813), Memorex (acquired by Imation) and Navini Networks (acquired by Cisco).
