Investor Included in New
Multinational Company Index
The new NASDAQ OMX Group has launched its first combined company index, the NASDAQ OMX 100, a market capitalization-weighted index consisting of the 100 largest companies on the combined exchanges of the NASDAQ OMX Group in the United States, Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Iceland.
The new index is a global benchmark that enables investors to track some of the world’s most innovative large-growth companies in a broad range of sectors and industries, including technology, communications, healthcare, retail, and finance. Investor AB is included in the index.
The index components are derived from a list of all securities listed on the NASDAQ Stock Market or the OMX Exchanges that meet certain index eligibility requirements. The index is calculated real-time across the combined exchanges and is disseminated in dollars and euros. On the start date, March 26, 2008, the NASDAQ OMX 100 Index began with a base value of 1500.00.
