Share Structure

Investor’s share capital amounted to SEK 4,795 m. on December 31, 2010, each with a par value of SEK 6.25.

The ownership structure remains concentrated in general. In terms of numbers, the largest category of shareholders is private investors, amounting to 122,288, corresponding to 88 percent of the total number of shareholders. In terms of the percentage of shares owned, institutional owners dominate, with 87 percent of the capital held by 16.473 insitutional owners.

The largest single shareholder category is foundations, of which the three largest Wallenberg-foundations combined own 22.3 percent of the capital and 48.0 percent of the votes.

The proportion of foreign shareholders was 31 percent (share capital) at year-end 2010. Foreign owners own primarily class B shares. US-based owners hold the largest number of shares outside Sweden, with 12 percent of the share capital.
