Liza has been with Investor Growth Capital since 1998 and based in IGC’s New York office. From 1988-2009 she served as Co-Head of IGC’s Healthcare investing activities as a Managing Director with a focus on specialty, small molecule and biologic pharmaceuticals and healthcare services.
Before joining IGC, Liza spent 10 years with Pfizer Inc., where she held a series of positions with increasing responsibility in corporate finance/M&A, strategy, business development, marketing and operating management. She co-founded and served as operating head for Pfizer’s healthcare services subsidiary, Pfizer Health Solutions. Prior to Pfizer, Liza was with the New York offices of the Boston Consulting Group (strategy consulting) and E.M. Warburg, Pincus & Co. (venture capital), where in both cases she concentrated on healthcare and life sciences.
Liza received an M.B.A. in Finance and Marketing from the Yale School of Management and a B.A. in Economics from Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut.
She currently serves as a board member of Biolex Therapeutics, Epigenesis Pharmaceuticals, and Sirion Therapeutics.
