Jose has been involved in venture capital since 1997, most recently with IGC Asia, where he worked on a broad range of investments both in the public markets and in privately negotiated situations. Jose works out of IGC’s Menlo Park office and focuses on infrastructure technology, ranging from semiconductors to hardware systems and software.
He currently serves as a director on the boards of Atrenta, Chelsio Communications, eSilicon, ExaGrid Systems, Innovative Micro Technology, Magnum Semiconductor, and Millennium Microtech. Jose also worked with IGC’s investments in Amkor Technologies (AMKR), ASM Pacific (HKSE: 522), BlueArc (acquired by Hitachi Data Systems), Navini Networks (acquired by Cisco Systems).
Jose holds a B.A. in Asian Studies from Dartmouth College.
