Information from Investor AB's Capital Markets Day 2004

CEO Marcus Wallenberg restated Investor's goal to create sustainable growth in net asset value by building best-in-class companies in select sectors. In order to further increase growth potential, Investor also invests in companies in different development stages. Investor's international network was mentioned as an asset for all activities of the company, such as for finding the right people for holdings. Investor has increased its financial flexibility during the year and the company's dividend policy remains unchanged.

The CEO of 3 Scandinavia, Shlomo Liran, reviewed the 3G mobile market and the company's performance. He noted that 3 currently has approximately 350,000 subscribers in Sweden and Denmark, and that more than half of the company's planned investments are finished. According to an independent test conducted during the fall, 3 has the best 3G mobile network in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö, and in the south, east and far north of Sweden.

Holdings in Investor Growth Capital's (IGC) portfolio have also performed positively and IGC is well positioned today for an improved exit market. IGC's business activities in the Asia-Pacific region were presented in more detail. In this market, IGC currently has investments in approximately 15 growth companies in the technology sector.

The CEO of Bredbandsbolaget, Peder Ramel, reported that business is developing positively. The acquisition of Bostream, a competitor, has further strengthened Bredbandbolaget's market position in Sweden. The company has over 300,000 subscribers today.

 Dan Pitulia, CEO of Entific Medical Systems, noted continuing strong growth in sales and profitability for the company. More than 20.000 people are using the company's advanced hearing implants today.
