We encourage and expect our companies to invest in competence development, promote inclusion and diversity, and to ensure non-discrimination as well as a safe and healthy work environment.
Investor's 2030 targets:
- To actively promote diversity in all dimensions and encourage our companies to do so
- Investor and all portfolio companies shall measure the perceived level of inclusion among employees on a regular basis
- To reach a gender balance of 40/60 in the portfolio companies’ board of directors from an overall portfolio perspective, meaning at least 40 percent of the underrepresented gender
- To reach a gender balance of 40/60 in the portfolio companies’ executive management groups from an overall portfolio perspective, meaning at least 40 percent of the underrepresented gender

We believe that diversity and inclusion, making use of the total talent base available, build stronger and more dynamic teams.

We invest in and ensure that our employees can develop over time. The primary focus for competence development and up-skilling of our employees is on the job training. We also offer different opportunities to continuously learn and develop both in the short- and long-term perspective. These include external trainings, such as leadership and mentoring programs but also job rotations to portfolio companies. We run impact and development discussions with the overall objective to foster an environment where people can continuously grow and develop throughout a career and reach their full potential. Through employee surveys we follow up on engagement, motivation and perceived level of inclusion.

People and Communities
Investor strive to be a good corporate citizen and use our sponsor activities as a way to combine business-related involvement with a good citizen perspective. The areas we prioritize are youth, education and entrepreneurship. Investor supports several organizations that contribute to the development of society and entrepreneurship, such as Beredskapslyftet, IVA, SNS, Chambers of Commerce, Business Challenge and Young Enterprise Sweden.
As an engaged and long-term owner of high quality companies, we can distribute dividends to our owners. Through our lead-owner, the Wallenberg Foundations, Investor is part of the Wallenberg eco-system. The Wallenberg Foundations purpose is the betterment of Sweden through funding excellent research and research projects and has awarded more than SEK 41 bn in grants since 1917. In 2022, Investor paid dividends of SEK 2.9 bn to the Wallenberg Foundations.
